Louisville, Kentucky

My 24th of July was spent in Louisville, courtesy of work. Our first night Mandy & I went downtown to 4th Street Live! It was a Wednesday night, so it was a little quiet. Every night the street is shut down and the town parties! It was a little more exciting the next night. Thursday, we went across the river to dinner (to Indiana). It was a five minute jaunt across the river and I can now say that I've been to Indiana! Friday, our training got out early, so we drove up to Cincinnati, Ohio (one more state)...We went to a Reds game. This was my first MLB game. Colorado Rockies vs. Cincinnati Reds. Go Rockies!!! It was 80's night and it was so much fun! And yes, the Rockies won! The fireworks were fantastic! Saturday was our last day in Louisville. We went to Churchill Downs. What a cool place!
